Florian Möllers, Biologist (MSc Wildlife Ecology, Behaviour), photographer and author, is one of Germany’s Goodwill Ambassadors for the “UN Decade of Biodiversity” – a position, which he uses to increase public interest for conservation issues in Germany and Europe.
As a wildlife photographer he specializes in in-depth reportages covering the often ambiguous relationship between man and nature, producing books and exhibitions with strong educational focus.
His work has been published in magazines such as National Geographic, GEO, Huffington Post, FAZ, etc. and has been awarded in international competitions like the „Wildlife Photographer of the Year“ multiple times.

Florian worked as Managing Director of the German Association of Nature Photographers (GDT) and hosts GDT’s annual International Nature Photography Festival. He is a Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers (ILCP) and has been Communications Director of Wild Wonders of Europe since 2007.
Florian has been editor and designer of GDT’s much respected quarterly nature photography journal „Forum naturfotografie“, edited several coffee-table books and is the author of four own books. Amongst them the bestseller „Wildschweine“, published in 2003 by KOSMOS.

Flyfishing is Florian’s great passion and he feels most at home where there is any kind of water (with fish) in reach of a (wanna-be) elegant cast.
